The Diocesan Museum of the Archdiocese of Agrigento, established in 1872 by Bishop Turano, currently features a new exhibition inside the eighteenth-century Archbishop’s Palace.
The displayed collection allows visitors to follow the history of the Agrigento Diocese through eight exhibition rooms, from the Christian re-evangelization after the Muslim rule, which occurred in 1087 with the Norman conquest.
