Tante nuove attrazioni dedicate al Christmas in Florence: the Christmas markets return, starting with the one in Piazza Santa Croce, open from November 30 to December 18.

The Weihnachtsmarkt, clearly inspired by German tradition, will come alive with its 55 colorful wooden huts, offering crafts, objects, food, and hosting events, shows, and related activities.
Everything not only from Tuscan tradition but also from Northern Europe, in a blend of customs that will brighten the days of Advent.

Of shorter duration but of unchanged splendor, it is also possible to visit the Japanese-inspired market in Piazza Tasso, at the former Leopoldine hall (from December 2 to 4).

On the same dates, the Red Cross markets (at the Obihall theater) and the market organized by the Italian Foundation of Palliative Care on Lungarno Corsini will also be set up.

On December 8 only, the Fierucola dell’Immacolata will be held in Piazza Santissima Annunziata: a date to mark in the calendar if you plan to spend the Immaculate Conception holiday in Florence.

Furthermore, as is now tradition, Florence Noel returns, the Christmas market setup at Leopolda Station: open from December 7 to 11, it will host not only huts and stalls but also Santa Claus’s house.

So Florence also focuses on Christmas markets to offer both citizens and tourists an atmosphere worthy of the most famous festive tradition of Northern Europe.
