Already the home from 1872 to 1970 of the famous Lace School. In a suggestive setup, which also brings into the museum the typical polychromy of the island, rare and precious specimens are exhibited that offer a complete overview of the historical and artistic events of Venetian and lagoon lace from its origins to the present day.
During the museum’s opening hours, it is possible to see the skilled and tireless master lace makers at work, even today the custodians of an art passed down from generation to generation.
