Although some architectural elements of this monument suggest its construction in the 8th century, the confirmed date displayed on the portal refers to 1363. Little remains from the past on the church’s interior floors: just a consecration epitaph from 1696. The entire building has been restored with EU funding and today houses the Traglia Museum, containing various agricultural tools, some Traglia (a traditional agricultural transport vehicle used in the Grain Festival parade), and a reproduction made of wheat and straw of the Holy Door of the Vatican, paraded during the 2000 edition of the Grain Festival and blessed by the Pope in Rome that year.
