About 50 kilometers of well-groomed slopes, meticulously maintained every day—especially overnight—guarantee a top-notch skiing experience, rivaling even more famous destinations. This is the hallmark of the Abetone ski resort. The area caters to all skill levels with 22 easy runs, 12 intermediate slopes, and 2 advanced slopes, such as the Zeno 1, a trail designed by Zeno Colò, one of the greatest alpine skiers of all time. The ski area is seamlessly connected by 22 lifts—including drag lifts, chairlifts, and a modern cable car—making it easy to move between different parts of Abetone.

Snowboarders will love the Snowpark in Val di Luce, located on the Fariola run. Easily reachable via the Pista Gomito cable car or the Il Gomito chairlift, the Abetone snowpark is equipped with a Fux Box, Jump, Rail, Rainbow, and Bank features.

For a relaxing break and stunning mountain views, don’t miss the area’s mountain huts: the historic Rifugio La Selletta and Rifugio Baita Pulicchio, or the modern Rifugio Monte Gomito and Rifugio Ovovia, both opened alongside the cable car in 2005. Nature lovers can explore the beautiful local woods on snowshoes, discovering the magic of Tuscan landscapes even in winter—an experience not to be missed during your ski week in Abetone.
