The Collection, housed within an old barn, whose premises partly served as storage for cereals and legumes, and partly for the care of silkworms, today preserves the tools of past agricultural activities, both for the crops of the plain and the hill, along with the utensils for collateral activities (blacksmith, carpenter, wood craftsman for wine vessels or white wood for food uses). Additionally, there are the furniture and objects from the main house and the middle house, linked to family life, used from the 19th century until the last decades of the 20th century. There are preserved testimonies of activities now disappeared: the cultivation and processing of hemp, wool cardoon, straw for braiding, etc. Corresponding to the rural core, an “open air” visit route starts along an embankment, dedicated to the land reclamations carried out in the area along the Archiano stream.
