To see Romagna from a different perspective, here is a brand new route, proposed by the association “Pedalando e Camminando” and inspired by the monograph “Romagna Liberty“, a guide written by Andrea Speziali: this is the Romagna Liberty bicycle tour.
Points of interest will include the Liberty-style villas and some historic palaces of undisputed elegance, designed and built during the Belle Epoque.
The journey will start from Forlì, rich in such testimonies: key stops will be the villas on via Matteucci, the former pension Vittoria, Palazzo Torelli Guarini Fabri with its gates, and the Sardi villa on via Cairoli.

Another location included in this Romagna Liberty tour is Santarcangelo with the Vincenzi villa and the theater; also, Riccione offers interesting highlights: here is the historic villa in viale Ceccarini, now home to the Montparnasse art gallery.
In Pesaro you can admire the Ruggeri villa; in Cesenatico you can visit the halls of villa Pompili; in Ravenna there are several Liberty-style palaces decorated with terracotta.
The tour continues with Cesena, Faenza, Cervia Milano Marittima, Rimini with the Grand Hotel, Imola with the former Romeo Galli kindergarten, and Massa Lombarda with the Zaganelli cultural center.
The guided tours for the Romagna Liberty bicycle tour cost 2 euros per person, useful for insurance; it is recommended to contact the association “Pedalando e Camminando” (info@pedalandoecamminando.it; cell. 334 9516245; fax. 0541 56311) or visit the website romagnaliberty.it to book and find information on the schedule of outings.
