Pietro Canonica Museum of Rome. Restored pieces: all sculptures, all furniture, 3 tapestries, 8 carpets, the frames of all paintings, 28 paintings, 4 historic doors and related painted overdoors, 10 historical relics (objects and fabrics).

Pieces to be restored: all other paintings, the remaining 14 historical relics, all furniture upholstery, some furniture with small new damages, all works in storage.

PIETRO CANONICA MUSEUM – House, studio, and museum of sculptor Pietro Canonica (1869-1959), in the historic building of Villa Borghese known as “la Fortezzuola.” It contains sketches, models, and statues, and, in the private apartment, furnishings, tapestries, paintings, memories, and relics of the artist, donated by Canonica to the Municipality of Rome to establish a museum dedicated to him, which was inaugurated in 1961.
