In the eighteenth-century former Carmelite convent, the collection includes puppets, booths, and small theaters produced between the second half of the nineteenth century and the early decades of the twentieth century. Italian tradition marionettes and puppets, complete with their costumes (including pieces carved by the most important puppeteers active in the region), are accompanied by Austrian, Czechoslovak, and French specimens. The toy theaters are of Italian, Austrian, and English origin.
