The rich historical-artistic heritage comes from the various churches in Pescopagano that were destroyed or severely damaged by the 1980 earthquake and includes works (recovered and partly restored) dating from the sixteenth century to the early twentieth century. Notable are the valuable sixteenth-century sculptures: a Crucified Christ and the Madonna of the Snow.
