In the church, built between the 11th and 12th centuries on the ruins of the thermal complex of a Roman villa from the 2nd-3rd century AD (visible in the basement) that has been remodeled several times, there are carved wooden statues, such as the Madonna enthroned with Child from the second half of the 14th century and the St. Maurice in polychrome wood from the early 15th century; among the sacred art objects: a processional cross in silver sheet from the Savoy area from the second half of the 15th century, a chasuble cross embroidered with the Coronation of the Virgin, a brass basin of Flemish-Rhenish production from the 15th-16th centuries, a painted glass from 1561 depicting the Flagellation of Christ, as well as reliquaries and vestments.
