A very pleasant one winds along a loop route, starting and ending in Saint-Vincent, a charming town nestled in a basin sheltered from the winds.
From here, you climb to the Col de Joux, at 1640 meters altitude, riding one of the most scenic roads in the region; then you descend to Brusson and continue towards the valley floor, passing through the villages of Challard-Saint-Anselme and Challard-Saint-Victor, beyond which Verrès appears, with its magnificent castle built in the second half of the 14th century. The route proceeds towards Aosta, passing through Chamdepraz, home to the Mont Avic Natural Park, the only regional park in the Aosta Valley, and touches the ancient village of Montjovet, strategically nestled along the Roman road to Gaul, where you can admire the beautiful tower and the walls of the original St. Germain castle, dating back to the 11th century.
From here, you comfortably return to Saint-Vincent, after about three hours of cycling and 51 kilometers of trail.
