The house in the shadow of the majestic church of the Collegiate Church of San Candido is one of the oldest buildings in the Upper Puster Valley. It houses the museum, the archive, and the library of the Collegiate Church of San Candido. The cathedral’s treasure, the church’s sacred art, and a collection of manuscripts bear witness to the intellectual and spiritual activity of the oldest Collegiate Church in Tyrol. The precious objects exhibited here are largely works by local artists commissioned by the canons or wealthy landowners of San Candido.
