The museum was established in 2003, set up in a former olive mill located near the rock settlement. The Museum houses around 3,000 artifacts, all related to the rock and peasant civilization of Zungri. The collection is organized into thematic sections of the house, fieldwork, artisan crafts, weaving, and wine production. In one of the rooms, a period bedroom has been set up, and in addition to the furnishings, there are devotional images, pieces of daily male and female clothing, and some wedding costumes.
