Contemporary Art Workshop Museum – Former Tobacco Factory, Città Sant’Angelo

The Museum Laboratory former tobacco factory was established in 1998 by the will of the Municipality of Città Sant’Angelo. In 2001, under the new direction of the artist Enzo De Leonibus, it became a laboratory of experimentation and research useful for all possible expressions of contemporary visual art. Over the years, the Museum Laboratory has become, rather than an exhibition space, a meeting and working place for artists, creating important relationships and becoming a reference point for contemporary art. Since 2002 it has initiated continuous activity, thus accomplishing what was desired since its inception, which occurred with a visionary spirit and a mix of cultural passion and political decisions. Over the years, the Museum has succeeded in charting new paths, outlining different horizons, indicating new destinations, and building the identity of cultural and artistic heritage especially for artists, cultural operators, and the privileged public.
