I Amsterdam City Card: prices and how it works

Free museums in Amsterdam with I Amsterdam

The card also grants free admission (and sometimes skip-the-line entry) to numerous Amsterdam museums and attractions. Plus, you’ll get unlimited rides on all GVB public transport services, including buses, trams and metro. Simply tap your card at the start and end of each journey to activate it. I Amsterdam card price

Once you buy your I Amsterdam Card, it activates automatically the first time you use it (on public transport or at a museum). From that moment, it’s valid for exactly the number of hours you’ve chosen.

The card can be purchased online with collection available at your arrival in Amsterdam. Alternatively, you can buy it after you arrive at one of the city’s information points: Schiphol Airport Info Desk, Amsterdam Central Station Info Desk (Stationsplein 10, opposite the main entrance), Leidseplein Info Desk (Leidseplein 26, Stadsschouwburg Theatre building), Museumplein (Keytours, Paulus Potterstraat 8, near the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum).
