The Giara Pony Museum was established to promote and raise awareness of this unique horse breed, which still lives today on the basalt plateau of Giara, and to reveal the customs and traditions of a territory deeply connected, in part, to this important animal. Genoni hosts an ancient Campidanese house, faithfully restored, which houses the Giara Pony Museum. The museum is mainly divided into three sections: one entirely dedicated to the Giara pony, another purely ethnographic, and finally a particularly interesting multimedia section.
