The art gallery originates from the 1914 donation of Dr. Mario Foresi’s collection. It was opened to the public in 1924 in the rooms on the top floor of the Town Hall, where it remained until 1943. Subsequently, the works were exhibited in the two Napoleonic residences of San Martino and dei Mulini. In 1991, it was reopened at its current location.
