It is set up in the former elementary school of Ramazzano, a small hamlet about 8 km from the municipality of Perugia, located overlooking the fertile plain crossed by the Tiber River.
The center illustrates the multiple uses of the Tiber River in the stretch that flows through the Perugia area, from an essential resource for communication and exchange, to a source of energy to power the factories that arose along its course, to a use for the community’s leisure activities, which in the past used to swim or play in its waters.
The visit path is organized through four thematic sections, supported by a substantial photographic apparatus, explanatory panels, and a series of territorial models and scale models of bridges and boats
