The museum consists of three rooms in the stately building constructed by the Bevilacqua family between the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The first room is entirely dedicated to documentation about the chamois, the second contains a video room for screening documentaries about the Park, and the third room is rich with materials related to other protected areas in Abruzzo and throughout Italy. In the wildlife area, six chamois live semi-freely in a space of about 20 hectares. To admire them, two observation areas have been set up in the upper part of the village, offering a remarkable and evocative panoramic view of the Park’s territory from these observation points.
