The museum consists of three rooms in the noble building constructed by the Bevilacqua family between the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The first room is entirely dedicated to the documentation of the chamois, the second houses a video room for screening documentaries about the Park, and the third room is rich in materials related to other protected areas in Abruzzo and all over Italy. In the wildlife area, six chamois live semi-freely in a space of about 20 hectares. To admire them, two observation areas have been arranged in the upper part of the village; the panoramic view of the Park territory from this observation area is remarkable and evocative.
