The museum is composed of three rooms in the manor house built by the Bevilacqua family between the late 17th and early 18th centuries. The first room is entirely dedicated to the documentation of the chamois, in the second there is a video room for the screening of documentaries about the Park, and the third room is full of materials related to other protected areas in Abruzzo and all over Italy. In the wildlife area, six chamois live semi-freely in a space of about 20 hectares. To admire them, two observation areas have been set up located in the upper part of the village, with a remarkable and suggestive panoramic view of the Park territory that can be enjoyed from these observation areas.
