The Museum is housed in the historic Palazzo Rocca, occupying the part that was formerly used as a warehouse and stable, and displays the results of research conducted in Chiavari. On display are artifacts found in the Ligurian necropolis of Chiavari within cinerary urn tombs in lithic boxes dating back to the 7th century BC, as well as a showcase dedicated to a Bronze Age landing site.
