This is an exhibition that follows the model of an accurate reconstruction of a traditional peasant dwelling, set up in a peasant house located in the historic center of Acerenza, consisting of two rooms, inhabited until 1985, made available by the owners free of charge. The first area includes the kitchen and the stable, the second the bedroom and the chicken coop. All objects, loaned or donated to the museum structure, come from the Acerenza area.
The initiative is managed by a group of people dedicated to enhancing the local heritage, including Antonio Cimino, author of the Micromuseum set up in the Comprehensive School Institute.
