Opened in 2003, the Museo dei Campionissimi is the largest cycling museum in Europe. A passionate tribute dedicated to the Piedmontese cycling champions such as Costante Girardengo, who was born in Novi and began his remarkable sporting career there, or Fausto Coppi, who was an honorary citizen of Novi. The museum caters to a diverse audience, ranging from competitive cycling enthusiasts to amateur cyclists or those who simply hop on a bike to pedal freely. Housed in a former industrial warehouse of 3000 square meters, it offers the opportunity to explore the world of cycling in all its aspects: the exhibition has indeed been designed with the most advanced museographic criteria, with multimedia and virtual supports, large screens projecting the most exciting moments in cycling history, and a calendar of proposed cycle tourism itineraries to enhance the territory.
