Museum of the Champions, Novi Ligure

Opened in 2003, the Museum of the Champions is the largest cycling museum in Europe. A passionate tribute dedicated to the Piedmont cycling champions such as Costante Girardengo, who was born in Novi and began his remarkable sports career there, and Fausto Coppi, who was an honorary citizen of Novi. The museum caters to a diverse audience, from competitive cycling enthusiasts to amateur cyclists or those who simply hop on a bike to ride freely. Set up in a former industrial warehouse of 3,000 square meters, it offers the opportunity to explore the world of cycling in all its facets: the exhibition is designed with the most advanced museographic criteria, featuring multimedia and virtual supports, large screens projecting the most thrilling moments in cycling history, and a calendar of cycling tourism itineraries to promote the local area.
