The Civic Museum of Crema and the Cremasco was established as a territorial museum by a resolution of the Crema City Council on January 31, 1959, and officially opened its doors in 1960. Since 1960, it has remained a vital institution of the city, dedicated to collecting and preserving the historical testimonies of Crema society, promoting exhibitions and cultural activities, and at the same time fostering the creation of educational and teaching pathways aimed at both children and adults.
