The Civic Museum of Crema and Cremasco was established as a territorial museum by a resolution of the Crema City Council on January 31, 1959, and officially opened its doors in 1960. Since 1960, it has remained a vital institution in the city, dedicated to collecting and preserving the historical evidence of Cremasco society, promoting exhibitions and cultural activities, and at the same time encouraging the creation of educational and teaching paths aimed at audiences of children and adults.
