In the former Carmelite monastery of Santa Maria Maddalena dei Pazzi, annexed to the Church of San Vito Martire, the Museum of Preclassic Civilizations of the Southern Murgia has been opened.
In this Museum there is a large room where the skeleton of a twenty-year-old woman is exhibited, who preserved the remains of the fetus in her womb, lived in the Paleolithic (25,000 years ago) and found in the cave of Santa Maria di Agnano.
During the summer season, the Natural Archaeological Park of Agnano is open, with guided tours available. Also recommended is a visit, in a suggestive ravine, to the romantic small sanctuary of San Biagio in Rialbo, nestled in the rocky wall with a picturesque facade and remains of Byzantine-style frescoes from the 12th century.
