Monumental Church of San Michele, Anacapri

The Congregation was founded in 1685. Its purposes were religious (worship, spiritual assistance, prayers after death), but mainly charitable, especially during illnesses, during which a subsidy was paid to the sick brother. In 1818 the Congregation obtained from the King of Naples Ferdinand I the Church of the monastery of St. Michael, which Sister Serafina had established in 1683.
