Impedible, sempre a Edinburgh e sempre ad agosto, è anche il Military Tattoo, il coloratissimo festival delle bande militari del United Kingdom e del Commonwealth, che marciano e si esibiscono davanti al castello sotto gli occhi di una folla attenta e curiosa.
