Over the course of twenty years, thanks especially to his work, Guerriero has managed to acquire many objects that testify to the different aspects of the traditional society of Senisese. The Museum is set up, in the very historic center of Senise, in some rooms of a 15th-century noble palace, adjacent to the Mother Church. Upon entering the Museum, you immediately find yourself in a large hall, to which a smaller space is annexed, where the most substantial part of the collection is exhibited; these are mostly everyday objects, tools of peasant work (cereal cycle; cycle of oil, grapes, etc.), collections of weeklies, weaving tools, period clothing, etc.
Completing the museum itinerary is a room dedicated to the exhibition of ecclesiastical relics and a permanent nativity scene set in Senise, and finally, a small screening room where some historical photos are continuously presented.
The exhibition is accompanied by a rich didactic apparatus and some explanatory drawings of the objects.
The Museum is part of an exhibition path that also includes, nearby, a small house with typical furniture of ancient peasant homes and a small room where a shoemaker’s workshop has been reconstructed.
