Over the course of two decades, mainly thanks to his work, Guerriero managed to acquire many objects that testify to the various aspects of traditional Senisese society. The Museum is set up, in the heart of Senise’s historic center, in some rooms of a 15th-century noble palace, adjacent to the Mother Church. Upon entering the Museum, you immediately find yourself in a large room, with a smaller space annexed, where the most significant part of the collection is displayed; these are mostly everyday objects, farming tools (cereal cycle; oil cycle, grapes, etc.), weekly magazine collections, weaving tools, period clothing, and more.
The museum itinerary is completed by a room dedicated to the exhibition of ecclesiastical memorabilia and a permanent nativity scene set in Senise, and finally, a small projection room where some vintage photos are continuously shown.
The exhibition is accompanied by rich didactic material and some explanatory drawings of the objects.
The Museum is part of an exhibition path that also includes, nearby, a small house with typical furnishings of ancient peasant homes and a small room where a cobbler’s shop has been reconstructed.
