The temple is located in the locality “Funtana ‘e Binu”, in an elevated position, not far from the lake of the upper Flumendosa, on the border between Ogliastra and Barbagia. The complex includes the temple, a village, and four giant tombs. The temple, made with polygonal granite blocks, is a rare example of nuragic structure. On the floor was a ritual hearth made with small limestone blocks covered by a layer of clay; above them were other limestone blocks, connected by lead clamps and, on the outer side, with engraved decorations imitating a quadrilobate nuraghe. Inside the temple many votive bronzes and tools were found.
