“Beltrani Palace stands in the heart of the city of Trani, constituting a connecting element with the nineteenth-century village. Palace of the Arts with its artistic, cultural and architectural value, can be defined as a multifaceted museum for its functionality capable of transmitting culture, involving the citizen in its growth and development thanks to a policy of acquisitions through donations, loans and loans and through intensified laboratory teaching activities, aimed at bringing young people closer to the artistic language.
Beltrani Palace houses the Municipal Art Gallery, dedicated to a great artist from Trani ” Ivo Scaringi“, of whom about one hundred works are kept on loan from the painter’s family.
The building also houses paintings and sculptures owned by the municipality by southern artists of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century, the donation of Michele Ladogana and a consultation room containing volumes of Art History and archival materials with historical-artistic content.
The ground floor includes a collection of works donated by Matteo Masiello and is also used for exhibitions of excellence with nationally relevant artists. “
