At the Marina, among the best-known manufactories, there are the Ceramiche San Giorgio, with the sales point and a rich private collection available for viewing upon request, because this is a manufactory that also boasts a long and established collaboration with masters of contemporary art, such as Lucio Fontana, Emilio Tadini, Milena Milani, Ugo Nespolo and others. Another place not to be missed is the nearby Ceramiche Mazzotti, with the distinctive sign in futurist characters, founded by that Giuseppe Bausin Mazzotti, who played a large part in attracting to Albissola, at the beginning of the ‘900s, a significant portion of the Italian artistic elite. In addition to traditional ceramics, inside the Factory, you can also admire the Casa-Museo Giuseppe Mazzotti 1903, with unique pieces from the last century, several of which belong to the futurist season, and the garden with recent sculptures by artists revolving around this manufactory. In Albissola Capo, the Sandro Soravia shop-atelier stands out instead, an eclectic ceramist who after exhibiting all over Europe, also created his own line of plates, little men, “cones of fables” and other beautiful creations.
