“Palazzo “Beltrani” stands in the heart of the city of Trani, forming a connecting element with the nineteenth-century village. Palazzo delle Arti, with its artistic, cultural, and architectural value, can be defined as a multifaceted museum for its functionality capable of transmitting culture, engaging the citizen in their growth and development thanks to a policy of acquisitions through donations, loans, and leases and through intensified laboratory educational activities, aimed at bringing young people closer to artistic language.
Palazzo “Beltrani” houses within it the Municipal Art Gallery, dedicated to a great artist from Trani “Ivo Scaringi”, whose family has loaned about a hundred works for use.
The building also houses paintings and sculptures owned by the municipality by southern artists from the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, the donation of Michele Ladogana, and a consultation room containing volumes on Art History and archival materials with historical-artistic content.
The ground floor includes a collection of works donated by Matteo Masiello and is also used for high-profile exhibitions with nationally relevant artists. “
