NeapolitanTrips is born from an idea by Luca Sola, a young entrepreneur from Naples, and his brother Andrea. It is a unique hospitality project: on four floors of the historic building of the Casa del Mutilato in the heart of Naples, you can choose to stay in the Hostel, Premium Hostel, Bed&Breakfast, and Hotel Royal.
Contemporary art is the common thread in all these spaces. Photography, digital art, painting, and comics tell the story of the city of Naples, its characters, and its history, giving life to the first Art Hostel.
Along the path to the dormitories, you can admire the works of 8 artists (Luca Arenare, Angela Foria, Omar Mohamed, Marina Bufano, Laura Correale, Giada Piccolo, Flavia Bracale, Roberto Cavalieri) in which the iconic themes of Neapolitan identity are the protagonists. On the terrace of the Bar, all attention is on the site-specific work created on one of the walls by Iabo, a Neapolitan artist and writer, one of the leading figures of street art made in Naples with solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
On the floor of the Premium Hostel, the series “Humanhero”: stands out: a project by Luca Carnevale, a young Neapolitan painter who represents the main characters of Neapolitan culture as superheroes.
Massimo Troisi, Maradona, Sofia Loren, Totò, Vittorio de Sica, Pino Daniele and many others are depicted in Pop style and dressed as American superheroes.

On the other floors of NeapolitanTrips, you can admire the works of Sergio Siano, including “Il Mare che bagna Napoli” and in the rooms of the B&b the photos of six Neapolitan artists (Alessandro Pierno, Enrico Napoleone, Diego Loffredo, Andrea Savoia, Luigi Lista, Paola Tufo) selected by Elisabetta Cartiere.

The permanent collection, which is enriched year after year, is alternated with temporary exhibitions in the common areas for periods of 15 days. With the aim of promoting the talent of young Neapolitan artists, exhibitions are inaugurated on Wednesdays with the Aperiveg #inArt, the vegan aperitif.
NeapolitanTrips is the first Urban Tourist Village in Italy, a hospitality hub suitable for every type of traveler and every travel need: Bed&Breakfast, Hostel, Hotel Royale and Premium Hostel all in one building, in the monumental heart of Naples, for a total of 160 beds. The building is the monumental palace of La Casa del Mutilato, built between 1938 and 1940, in the city center, a few steps from the famous Spaccanapoli.
