Museum of Zoology “Pietro D’Oberlein”, Palermo

Owned by the University of Palermo, it houses collections dating mainly to the second half of the nineteenth century. Notable is the ichthyological collection, which consists of about 1,000 specimens, mostly from the Sicilian seas, and more than 1,000 skeletal and anatomical apparatuses.
