Museo taverna dell’Aquila, Ozieri

Giuseppe Saba, native of Ozieri, has gathered, saving them from certain dispersion, a remarkable amount of everyday objects related to peasant civilization and the ancient artisan shops of Ozieri. La Taverna dell’Aquila, an exhibition halfway between a tavern and an ethnographic museum, takes its name from an emblematic stuffed eagle, a gift from the family of the illustrious Ozieri painter Giuseppe Altana. The theme of the path concerns artisanal activities, peasant civilization, enological collecting, and mineralogy. Worth noting is the collection of minerals and fossils from all over the world.
