In the Birth House of Father David Maria Turoldo, built around the mid-18th century, you can find exhibited materials and artifacts related to the poetic, literary, and religious work of the friar.
The Birth House of Father Maria Turoldo is a testimony to the typical rural architecture of the time in Friuli, located within a courtyard around which rustic and agricultural buildings develop.
The porch, enhanced by two access doors, leads to the living area consisting of the kitchen (on the ground floor), two poor and narrow bedrooms (on the first floor), and the attic used as a warehouse, now used as a conference room and small library.
The linear windows let light filter into the dark interiors. The walls are made of river Tagliamento pebbles mixed with fragments of terracotta.
In the two rooms belonging to the Turoldo family, you can also observe the original structure, preserved as such by the will of the Municipality of Sedegliano which carried out the renovation work.
