If the climate does not scare the traveler, then there are outdoor Christmas markets to suit every taste.
The Columbus Circle Holiday Market offers really everything and is very easy to reach, since it is located in a very central spot, in front of the entrance to Central Park.
Strictly white and red stalls are the protagonists of the Holiday Market, set up in Union Square. Here, especially handmade and local artists’ items find a place on the stands, with the possibility to bring bags and belts back to Italy – for example – made from recycled materials.
Among the Christmas markets in New York that are most famous, you cannot miss the Holiday Shops at Bryant Park. Although this space, inside which the New York Public Library is also located, may seem apparently small and cozy, about 120 Christmas stalls have been set up here where it is possible to find a wide variety of items, from clothing to home accessories, not to mention treats to taste or hot drinks to warm up. There’s more: there is also an ice skating rink.
