The museum is divided into four exhibition sections: the religious rite, plastic art, painting, furnishings, and ceramic cladding.
The first section displays Vestments and Sacred Furnishings, almost entirely located in the large hall. Here you can admire gold and silk chasubles; various copes; a silver monstrance with a statuette of Saint Catherine at the base; silver chalices; a mother-of-pearl altar cross; finely detailed stoles, albs, and capes.
Regarding plastic art, the museum features terracotta sculptures by master Giuseppe Criscione and his children Alberto and Paola; over thirty figurines from the Ethnographic Nativity Scene of the Iblei in the classic Criscione style, well-known throughout Europe. The Nativity Scene is reconstructed on a model depicting elements of the architectural and environmental Heritage of Chiaramonte.
The painting section exhibits some canvases by S. Montanucci portraying the interiors of the Churches of Saint John the Baptist, the Holy Savior, Saint Vito, and the Sanctuary of Gulfi.
Also hosted is a collection by Giacomo Alessi, a renowned ceramic artisan from Caltagirone, who elevated ceramics to a national and European art form.
