This museum is located on the first floor of the Rocca, preserving the memory of war veterans and was opened to honor the memory of those who fell in battle.
Over the years, the initial collection grew so much that it allowed the opening of a museum in 1965. Continuous donations enabled the museum to expand to the point where a new location was required: it was thus moved to its current seat on the first floor of the Visconti fortress, adopting the name Museum of the Memory of the Community.
Constantly being arranged, the museum is divided into 3 interconnected rooms where you can find a rich collection of medals, uniforms, bombs, weapons, and numerous photographs and documents obtained through private donations and purchases made also at second-hand and antique markets. A complete first aid kit from the war of 1915/1918 and a device to view about forty three-dimensional photographs of the First World War are the two most prized pieces of the collection.
