The museum displays household items, craftsmanship, and work tools from the peasant civilization, including some wooden beds forged by fire and the units of measurement used during the Bourbon era. The exhibition is divided into four other sections: “Historical Archives” contains original documents from schools, the Municipality, and some private collections from the 1600s, along with copies of documents from the 1500s. “Library and Bibliography” houses 273 pieces, some dating back to 1480. “Phlogistics” exhibits seals and stamps from the 1700s and 1800s. “Photographic Archive” is a collection of photos from the last century. The collection, originally located at the municipal seat in Palazzo Garopoli, has been temporarily moved to the Old Town Hall premises and is currently not open to visitors.
