Ethnographic Museum “Once Upon a Time” of Vernante, Vernante

Old hemp and cotton underskirts handmade, nailed shoes, wooden skis, wooden toys, and musical instruments from the Occitan tradition make up the ethnographic collection of this museum, which houses testimonies of mountain life from the early 20th century to 1950. The collection is divided into small themed rooms and includes spaces dedicated to school and the kitchen.
