This abbey is among the most important in Tyrol. In addition to the church with the famous paintings by Matthäus Günther, and the cloister with frescoes from the 14th and 15th centuries, visitors can explore the library, which houses valuable manuscripts, and the art gallery with its remarkable collection of painted panels, exquisite works of Gothic painting (Friedrich Pacher, Marx Reichlich, Andreas Haller).
The abbey also features a unique historic Baroque garden, with a fishpond and aviary. Next to it, an aromatic herb garden displays about 75 different varieties of native and exotic herbs.
