Alitalia: new flights from Bologna to Catania, Reggio Calabria, and Lamezia Terme

Alitalia increases the number of flights connecting the south of the Peninsula to Bologna. For the summer, an increase in connections between Bologna and Sicilian-Calabrian airports is planned.

The airports of Lamezia Terme and Reggio Calabria will enjoy an increase in flights by Alitalia departing from Bologna airport. For the month of August, in fact, the national airline has added two new flights to Lamezia Terme and two to Reggio Calabria, always originating from Bologna.

Furthermore, Catania airport will benefit from daily connections with Bologna starting from May 1st. Thanks to the restructuring of frequencies, even during the summer period, Alitalia will guarantee 32 weekly flights from Bologna to Rome, Catania, Lamezia Terme, and Reggio Calabria.

Schedule of the new connections

Flight Bologna to Reggio Calabria: Tuesday and Thursday departing from Bologna at 12:55 and arriving in Reggio at 14:35;

Flight Reggio Calabria to Bologna: Tuesday and Thursday departing from Reggio Calabria at 10:30, arriving in Bologna at 12:10;

Flight Bologna to Lamezia Terme: Monday and Friday departing from Bologna at 13:10 and arriving in Lamezia Terme at 14:50;

Flight Lamezia Terme to Bologna: Monday and Friday departing from Lamezia Terme at 10:45 and arriving in Bologna at 12:25;

Flight Bologna to Catania: daily departing from Bologna at 10:00 and arriving in Catania at 11:45;

Flight Catania to Bologna: daily departing from Catania at 7:30 and arriving in Bologna at 9:10.

Flight prices naturally vary depending on the purchase and flight period. All information is available on the official Alitalia website. The flights will be operated with Airbus A320 or A319.
