The Sciacca Section of the State Archive, established by Ministerial Decree on February 26, 1970, operating since 1974, is located at via Figuli, 28/30.
The initial documentary core of the Section was formed by the Notarial Acts of the Sciacca District consisting of 12,076 volumes, starting from 1434. Subsequently, the Section increased its documentary heritage by acquiring deposits from various territorial state offices, including the Office of Direct Taxes, the Revenue Agency, the Notarial Archive, and the Court.
