Very evocative is the collection of shells, starfish, sea urchins, fish, fossils, and the archaeological section where you can admire six Roman amphorae, some of which were found in a wreck near the port of Ognina.
The sea, a symbolic and archetypal element, a meeting point of civilizations that links and brings together cultures, customs, religions, and has always been the basis of human life, is present in every corner of the museum with its evocative and magical force.
For this reason, the museum easily lends itself to becoming a permanent laboratory of the historical and scientific culture of the marine environment and the ideal, magical, and welcoming place to bring out the emotions related to the suggestions evoked by the sea.
